Margaret Easley began her acting career at age seven, when she was cast as Jacob Marley in her elementary school production of "A Christmas Carol." She practiced her lines over and over, and toiled for hours on her costume (a flesh-colored swim cap with cotton glued to the side - ahhh…. the very image of an old man's ghost) only to catch a case of walking pneumonia. She cried the night she was forced to miss her own opening night. To this day she can recite her lines, "Yes I know…but all the same, my spirit has come to haunt you…"

Margaret never missed another opening night, and managed to land the lead in several college productions; although she was an English major. She began performing in productions all over Santa Barbara, and even spent several summers performing in Shakespeare festivals. After graduating from UCSB with honors, she decided to try acting in Los Angeles, and within a few years, she was firmly established as one of the most recognizable faces - and voices - on television.

She's also very active in environmental and animal causes. She volunteers with Shifting Baselines, a non-profit organization that is addressing the global decline of our oceans. Please visit their website www.shiftingbaselines.org to read more about this worthy cause. Below is a small list of other charities dear to Margaret; she hopes you will take a moment to visit.
